Founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Rafael Ferrer Noel (Cuba) and Rosina van der Aa (New Zealand), CUBAN☆FUSION is Wellington's Cuban Salsa Specialist and New Zealand's leading Cuban dance and music company.
In addition to Salsa, CUBAN☆FUSION teaches the range of Afro-Cuban dance styles from Rumba to Reggaetón, as well as Afro-Cuban Contemporary dance.
Rafael also sings and plays percussion in a number of Wellington-based bands including his very own Afro-Cuban eight and five piece jazz bands MafereFUN Yemayá and AfroKan, as well the Cuban Duo Madera Fina and the Son de Cuba Quartet.
